Centericq is a multiprotocol IM client that supports: ICQ, Yahoo, AIM, Jabber, IRC, RSS, and LiveJournal.
Now, people have had some trouble getting a hold of (ABCDE).
abcde Is a frontend for cdparanoia which retrieves cddb information and rips and encodes cds to your favourite audio compression format.
Currently, supported formats include: mp3, ogg/vorbis, flac, and ogg/speaks.
abcde also requires another tool called cd-discid which for convenience sake is included in this slackware package.

Id3v2 is a commandline tagger for mp3s and can be used in conjunction with abcde and various other cd-rippers out there.

id3lib-3.8.3 has been included in this slackware package for dependancy reasons. And
because I ain't that much of a heartless sod not to include it and force you to compile it from source.
lame-3.91 is a fast good quality commandline mp3 encoder.
lame supports vbr, abr, and cbr.
lame also has id3 tagging capabilities.

This application allows one to convert Ms word 97/2000/2002 formats
to text, docbook, xml and postscript formats.
For those that use the KDE (K Desdtop environment),
kantiword is available as part of this package.
